 NEWS UPDATE : Cisco New CCENT & CCNA
Cisco has announced that they are expanding their certification at entry level - New CCENT (Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician) and New CCNA.
The New CCNA has advanced troubleshooting, security and wireless technologies from the existing (old) CCNA course and examination.
For CCENT Certification (ICND1 - 5 days training)
Certification Objectives:
· Configure, operate and troubleshoot small routed and switched networks
· Basic optimization of a LAN
· Connect to other networks (LANs and WANs)
· Identify basic security threats and mitigation methods
For CCNA Certification (ICND2 - 5 days training)
Certification Objectives:
· Configure, operate and troubleshoot medium size routed and switched networks
· Implement and verify various protocols to manage addressing, load balancing and basic authentication
· Implement and verify serial connections to remote sites (WAN)
